Citing the ruler as ‘Sanaʾ al-Dawla’ (in Arabic) within a circle; above, sword; below, bow and arrow; mint and date formula in the margin. Rev. Citing Ahmad ibn ʿAli as al-Malik al-Muzaffar Khan in the field, and as al-Malik al-Muzaffar Qutb al-Dawla in the margin, ‘li-llāh / Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh / al-Malik al-Muẓaffar / Khān’ (‘To Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. al-Malik al-Muzaffar Khan’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘mimmā amara bihī al-amīr al-sayyid al-Malik al-Muẓaffar Quṭb al-Dawla’ (‘From that ordered by the Amir and the Lord al-Malik al-Muzaffar Qutb al-Dawla’ in Arabic).
